Electronic Design Engineer

Still River Systems is looking for an experienced Electronic Design Project Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide “hands on” analog and digital design support to various subsystems design groups on the Monarch 250 Proton Beam Radiation Therapy System.
• Responsible for complete electronic sub projects including prototype construction, testing, and documentation.
• Work with other subsystem engineers in a fast paced team environment to coordinate project deliverables to schedule

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have:

· Minimum of 5 years design experience including:

o Analog circuitry with emphasis on small signal AC/DC design. Should be familiar with electrometers, A/D converters, and operational amplifiers.

o Embedded systems experience with FPGA’s and microcontrollers

o Circuit simulation through SPICE or other modeling

o Design and layout of PC Boards

o Knowledge of RF design is a plus

o A sound understanding of electronic design for reliability and manufacturability

· BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum 5 years directly related experience

· Medical device background desirable

· Knowledge of PLC’s and motion control desirable

· Possess effective verbal and written communication skills and excel in a team environment
